Meet Artia Lewis
Artia Lewis is a passionate mental health advocate, community builder, and the founder of Surviving Post-Partum Depression with No Boundaries (SPPDWNB). Inspired by her own six-year battle with post-partum depression, Artia turned her pain into purpose, creating a safe and inclusive space for others to heal.
As a proud woman of color and second-generation granddaughter of Berniece Stone, Artia carries a deep commitment to breaking the stigma around mental health and amplifying the voices of those who feel unheard. Through weekly check-ins, live events, and raw conversations, she empowers women and men from all walks of life to prioritize their mental well-being.
Artia’s mission is simple yet profound: to speak the truth about mental health, motivate others through her testimony, and remind everyone that healing is not only possible – it’s within reach.
The Mission
Surviving Postpartum Depression With No Boundaries Inc. was born from my personal journey—years of battling fear, anxiety, self-doubt, and depression. I fought through the darkness for nearly a decade, emerging stronger, more empowered, and committed to breaking the silence around maternal mental health.
As a second-generation granddaughter of Berniece Stone, I carry forward a legacy of resilience, advocacy, and unwavering support for women—especially women of color—who feel alone, unheard, or ashamed. Too often, our struggles are dismissed or misunderstood, but I refuse to let those voices go unheard.
My mission is simple: to be real, to be seen, and to be a voice for the women who have yet to find their own. I speak raw truths about postpartum depression, dismantling stigma and bringing visibility to the hidden battles so many women fight. Through my testimony, I stand as living proof: if God brought me through it, He can do the same for you.
Together, we build a community where no woman walks this path alone.
